Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking a Category Manager III to lead indirect procurement across hardware, telecom services, and related technology offerings in a fast-paced enterprise setting. You will drive sourcing strategies, supplier collaborations, and cost optimization across IT and non-IT spend.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of procurement experience, strong negotiation and analytics skills, and a proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders while delivering measurable value and risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5–7 years of procurement, sourcing, or related experience.
• Experience managing indirect spend categories and supplier negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute category strategies for indirect procurement.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing events including RFPs and negotiations.
• Manage supplier relationships and track supplier performance.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, IT, and stakeholders on contracts.
• Provide procurement guidance on market conditions and risk.
• Mentor junior team members and share best practices.
