Qualifications

• Two years of experience as an Income Maintenance Caseworker or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Knowledge of NC FAST and Social Service programs.
• Ability to communicate with clients and explain rules and procedures.
• Ability to manage time and handle multiple tasks under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Determine applicant/client eligibility for Food and Nutrition Services.
• Perform eligibility determinations in Food & Nutrition Programs.
• Prepare and present evidence for local/state appeal hearings.
• May undertake additional duties in other program areas as needed.
