Job summary

Cambridge Department of Human Service Programs (DHSP) seeks a Senior Inclusion Support to adapt and modify after-school programming for a child requiring substantial support. You will work under the site supervisor and Inclusion Initiative to implement accommodations and support plans, ensuring a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for youth.

Responsibilities include team collaboration, parent communication, and participation in trainings.

Qualifications

  • Basic clinical/diagnostic understanding of children's needs.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with parents/guardians and staff.
  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis, SEL, and sensory regulation concepts.
  • Ability to adapt activities to individual student needs.
  • Willingness to participate in trainings and meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to adapt and modify programming for a child needing substantial support.
  • Collaborate with staff to maintain an inclusive environment.
  • Maintain regular communication with site supervisor and Inclusion Initiative.
  • Communicate with parents/guardians about the student’s progress and needs.
  • Develop and implement accommodations and support plans with Inclusion Specialists.
  • Assist with physical needs and assistive technology devices as required.
  • Attend program meetings and trainings.
