Job summary

Mandiant, part of Google Cloud, seeks an Incident Response Consultant to deliver incident response, assessment, transformation, managed detection and response, and training services. You will help organizations detect threats and respond at scale with end-to-end incident management including investigation, containment, remediation, and crisis handling.

In this role you will work on engagements with high-profile incidents, perform forensic analysis, threat hunting, and malware triage,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 5 years in end-to-end incident response investigations, analysis, or containment actions.
• 5 years in investigative work with network forensics, malware triage, cloud forensics, or disk/memory forensics.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and customer teams to investigate and contain incidents.
• Codify attacker Tools, Tactics, and Procedures (TTPs) and Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) for current and future investigations.
• Conduct host forensics, network forensics, log analysis, and malware triage to support incident response.
