Job summary

Google is seeking an Incident Response Consultant to provide industry-leading incident response, assessment, transformation, managed detection and response, and training services with in-depth tactical support.

You will help organizations effectively detect and respond to threats and reduce the overall impact of business risk before, during, and after an incident, including forensic analysis, threat hunting, and crisis management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related technical field.
• 5 years of end-to-end incident response investigations, analysis or containment.
• 5 years of investigative experience in network forensics, malware triage, cloud forensics, or memory/disk forensics.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and customer teams to investigate and contain incidents.
• Codify attacker Tools, Tactics, and Procedures (TTPs) and IOCs for current and future investigations.
• Conduct host forensics, network forensics, log analysis, and malware triage in support of IR.
