Job summary

Agile Defense, Inc. seeks an experienced Incident Response Analyst to respond to cybersecurity incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and develop prevention strategies.

The role involves analyzing moderate-complexity security challenges and collaborating with teams to strengthen defenses with limited supervision. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in incident response, experience with APT/FIN actors, and proficiency in Microsoft Defender EDR, SOC practices, and report writing.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree with 5 years in Incident Response.
• 5+ years of incident response experience.
• Experience handling APT or FIN actor and cloud-based threats in IR.
• Experience working with clients in a professional manner.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender EDR.
• Knowledge of SOC best practices.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness.
• Ability to author clear, robust reports and review QA submissions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents that threaten systems, networks, or data.
• Analyze security alerts, identify threats, perform forensic investigations, and implement containment, eradication, and recovery measures.
• Collaborate with security teams, IT, and business stakeholders to strengthen controls, document incidents, and ensure policy compliance.
• Perform threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and post-incident reviews to improve security posture.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Cybersecurity
