Rutgers University, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Senior Incident Response Analyst for the Office of Information Technology. The role reports to the Associate Director and includes leading and supporting incident detection, response, and forensics across the university’s computing environment.

The position requires extensive information security experience, knowledge of security frameworks, and strong communication.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 5+ years of information security experience in vulnerability scanning or security operations.
• Experience in an enterprise technical environment, preferably in a customer-service based organization.

Responsabilidades

• Operate the incident detection and response program daily.
• Monitor Rutgers’ computing environment for information security incidents.
• Serve as escalation point for Incident Response Analysts.
• Provide expert-level analytic, investigative and forensic support for complex security incidents.
• Participate in all phases of the Integrated Incident Response Program.
