Job summary

The New Jersey Judiciary is seeking a dynamic Information Security Unit (ISU) professional to join the Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT). The role focuses on incident response and monitoring across Judiciary platforms using SIEM and other tools, with occasional special projects for upgrades.

Hybrid work is available up to 3 days remote; a bachelor’s degree in a related field is required and CompTIA Security+ or higher is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a field related to computer science or information technology and one year of professional IT experience.
• CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Substitution options including various degree levels and internships are allowed.

Responsibilities

• Perform incident response and monitoring across Judiciary platforms using SIEM and specialized tools.
• Assist with escalation and containment of threats, supporting recovery planning.
• Coordinate with engineering and CISO, develop SIEM policies and alerts.
