Rutgers University, located in New Jersey, seeks an Information Security Analyst in the Information Security Office (ISO) within the Office of Information Technology. You will join the IT-GRC team to lead campus-wide risk management, compliance, and cybersecurity trainings.

You will evaluate risk assessments, propose remediation, and collaborate with stakeholders to document and communicate risks while maintaining governance and funding alignment. A hybrid work arrangement is possible.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, or related discipline.
• Five (5) years of experience in an information security program.
• Equivalent education, experience and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate and evaluate internal and 3rd party information security risk assessments.
• Provide risk remediation recommendations to mitigate identified control gaps and drive awareness of resources and technologies.
• Work with stakeholders across campus to ensure risks are documented and communicated.
• Maintain a formal risk register that drives security governance and ensures security funding aligns with business objectives.
• Act as subject matter expert for end-to-end management of findings for information security assessments for vendors, applications.
• Collaborate with PMO and IT teams to define security requirements, track issues, provide solutions, communicate vulnerabilities, and identify policy exceptions.
