Job summary

Abiologics, Inc. in Watertown, MA is seeking a Senior Research Associate to join our Pharmacology team. You will lead hands-on rodent in vivo studies, coordinate with CROs, and support in vitro and ex‑vivo pharmacology activities to progress the Synteins platform.

The role involves collaborating across design-make-test teams, optimizing study quality, and contributing to data analysis and interpretation for pipeline advancement.

Qualifications

• BS in Biology or related discipline with 5–7 years of relevant research experience, or MS with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with rodent in vivo dosing and handling techniques across multiple administration routes (PO, IP, IV, SC).
• Dissection and preparation for RNA, protein analysis, histology, fixation and embedding.
• Experience with ELISA, Western blot, qPCR, cell-based assays, and flow cytometry.
• Proficient in Excel, GraphPad Prism, and PowerPoint for documentation and data presentation.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in vivo (mouse) studies to characterize function, PK, and biodistribution of Synteins.
• Perform dosing of mice and collect tissues and blood across time points.
• Ensure compliance with IACUC regulations and animal welfare.
• Prepare tissues for histology and perform lab procedures like tissue lysis and ELISA.
• Coordinate with CROs for external in vivo studies and sample shipment.
• Analyze data, document results in ELN, and present findings in meetings.
• Collaborate with Pharmacology and cross-functional teams to advance pipeline.
