Unified Women's Healthcare is seeking an Employment Counsel to advise HR and leadership on a broad range of employment law matters. The role partners with executives to ensure legal compliance and manage risk across the organization.

Responsibilities include drafting employment documents, handling investigations, and guiding strategic workforce decisions such as reorganizations and reductions in force. Exceptional communication and in-house experience are valued assets.

Qualifikationen

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school is required.
• Active bar membership and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 4-7 years of experience practicing employment law, in-house or with a law firm.

Aufgaben

• Serve as trusted legal advisor to HR and business leaders on employment law matters.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; monitor regulatory developments; suggest policy improvements.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and update employment-related documents (policies, agreements, handbooks).
• Provide strategic counsel on employee relations, disputes, and organizational challenges.
• Conduct or oversee workplace investigations involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, or ethics concerns.
