Job summary

HR Group, LLC is seeking an experienced General Counsel to provide strategic legal guidance across a diverse, multi-industry portfolio. The role involves serving as the primary in-house advisor on employment law, regulatory compliance, contracts, corporate governance, and risk management for HR Group and its affiliated entities.

The General Counsel will navigate legal landscapes across fields including field/industrial services and healthcare/senior care, and will manage outside counsel,

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Oklahoma, in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of legal experience.
• Demonstrated experience advising clients across multiple industries.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Excellent judgment, discretion, and communication skills for advising senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead in-house counsel for HR Group, LLC and affiliates.
• Advise on employment law, regulatory compliance, contracts, governance, and risk management.
• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and vendor agreements across lines of business.
• Manage and mitigate legal risk across entities with differing regulatory exposure.
• Partner on policy development and compliance initiatives.
• Oversee litigation strategy and relationships with outside counsel.
• Advise on corporate governance matters for multi-entity structure.
• Stay current on employment law, healthcare regulation, and industry-specific compliance requirements.
