Job summary

Dignity Health - St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, CA seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide essential in-home occupational therapy services under physician orders.

You will evaluate home safety, assess functional needs, and implement tailored treatment to promote independence. Candidates should have strong assessment and treatment planning skills for in-home care, with a focus on patient education and safety, collaborating with the care team to support independence for patients

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of clinical experience.
• Extensive training in a specialty area (neuro rehabilitation, orthopedics, pediatrics, hand rehabilitation, pain management or work hardening).
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in California upon hire; CPR certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate home safety and functional needs for in-home therapy.
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Communicate goals and progress with the healthcare team and patient/family.
• Attend care conferences and coordinate through the rehab team.
