Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Nurse Aide to deliver nursing care under supervision and to supervise the program aide assigned to assist with nursing services. The role focuses on meeting the needs of elderly residents, including those with cognitive impairments, and supporting family caregivers.

Qualifications

• Certified CNA with at least 1 year geriatric care experience.
• Health clearance including freedom from communicable diseases.
• Ability to work unscheduled days and hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the program aide assisting with nurse care.
• Assess elderly needs, including cognitive impairment considerations.
• Report changes in condition to the manager immediately.
• Monitor vital signs and weights regularly.
• Provide restorative nursing services including bowel/bladder management.
• Assist with ADLs such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Direct day meal services per physician orders.
