Qualifications

• Certified CNA with at least 1 year experience in geriatric care (acute, long term, or home care).
• Must be in good health with freedom from communicable diseases per employer standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the program aide assisting with nurse care.
• Observe participants and report changes to the manager.
• Monitor and record routine vital signs and weights.
• Provide restorative or rehabilitative nursing services as directed.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, ambulation, eating).
• Direct day meal services per physician prescriptions.
• Assist in emergency care and ensure supplies are adequate.
