Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior In-Building Cellular DAS Design Engineer to design and implement LTE/5G DAS for buildings, tunnels, and venues. You will conduct site surveys, model with iBwave, and optimize performance.

The role requires a Level 3 iBwave cert and 4+ years in public safety or cellular DAS design, with travel up to 25% for onsite support. Join a team delivering critical wireless coverage for public safety and commercial applications, collaborating with PMs and partners

Qualifications

Level 3 iBwave certification required.
Proficiency with iBwave Enterprise design software.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field OR 4+ years in Cellular/DAS design.

Responsibilities

Design and engineer Off-Air and Active DAS solutions for varied environments.
Conduct site surveys and gather requirements for system design.
Use iBwave to create building models, DAS placement, cabling, and compliance reports.
Perform system optimization in iBwave and resolve performance issues.
Collaborate with PMs, installers, and DAS stakeholders for project execution.
Keep up-to-date with wireless standards and participate in reviews.
Provide technical support and documentation for completed projects.
Ensure designs comply with codes and regulations.
