Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer with extensive IMS experience to support mainframe IMS systems for United States clients. The role reports to the Senior Manager – Mainframe Systems Programming and focuses on providing premium IMS-related services across z/OS and related OEM software.

The ideal candidate will handle customer requests, drive migrations, and participate in disaster recovery planning while adhering to Ensono’s processes and ITSM guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Extensive IMS administration and systems programming experience.
• Proficient in IMS, JCL, and database management concepts.
• Knowledge of IMS database structures and path processing.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customer service requests for IMS z/OS and OEM products.
• Provide primary support for IMS-related problems.
• Support 24x7x365 across multiple time zones.
• Install OEM software according to best practices and Ensono standards.
• Support customer migrations related to IMS products.
• Assist project manager with migrations and timelines.
• Collaborate with Disaster Recovery Services on DR plans.
• Adhere to ITSM change control procedures.
