Job summary

Ensono is seeking an experienced IMS mainframe specialist to provide premium support for IMS/related OEM software, coordinate migrations, and assist in disaster recovery tasks.

The role requires 10+ years of IMS experience, strong JCL and database skills, and the ability to support customers 24/7 across multiple time zones, while adhering to ITSM change control procedures and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of IMS administration and systems programming experience.
• Experience with IMS in parallel sysplex.
• Strong knowledge of JCL and database administration.
• Experience with IMS databases and various types (HSAM, HISAM, SHISAM, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide premium software support for Ensono IMS mainframe customers.
• Support IMS-related OEM software products and migrations.
• Provide 24/7 support across multiple time zones.
• Follow ITSM change control procedures.
• Assist migration of new customers and disaster recovery tasks.
• Collaborate with the project manager to keep migration dates on track.
