Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer with extensive IMS experience in a high availability environment. You will provide premium support for IMS and related OEM software, manage migrations, and ensure disaster recovery readiness across multiple time zones.

The role requires strong JCL, database skills, and a proven track record of performance tuning and production support across a parallel sysplex environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of professional IMS administration and systems programming experience.
• Experience with IMS, CA and IBM tools is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of IMS database structures and related utilities.
• Experience configuring IMS in a parallel sysplex environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot IMS system and database issues.
• Familiarity with ITSM change control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide premium support for IMS-related issues across OEM products.
• Offer 24x7x365 support across multiple time zones.
• Assist in customer migrations and transitions related to IMS.
• Follow best practices for installing OEM software products.
• Support disaster recovery plans in collaboration with DR services.
• Adhere to schedules to manage resources and timely implementations.
• Collaborate with project managers to resolve technical hurdles.
