Job summary

Ensono seeks an experienced Mainframe IMS Senior Administrator to deliver premium support for IMS and related OEM software across client environments. The role reports to the Senior Manager - Mainframe Systems Programming and requires deep knowledge of z/OS IMS tools and production support.

Responsibilities include timely handling of customer requests, 24x7x365 on-call coverage across time zones, migration support, disaster recovery coordination, and adherence to ITSM change control procedures

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
10+ years of professional IMS administration and systems programming experience.
Knowledge of best practices for IMS software management, maintenance and documentation.
Experience configuring IMS in parallel sysplex environments.
Strong troubleshooting of IMS system and database issues.

Responsibilities

Fulfill customer service requests for IMS-related issues in a timely manner.
Provide primary support for IMS and related OEM software products.
Offer 24 x 7 x 365 on-call support across multiple time zones.
Install OEM software products per Ensono standards and best practices.
Support customer migrations and coordinate with project managers to meet migration dates.
Contribute to disaster recovery tasks in collaboration with DR services.
Adhere to ITSM change control procedures.
