Job summary

Bluesight in the United States is seeking an experienced Implementation Specialist to lead hospital procurement solution deployments, including CostCheck, ShortageCheck, and 340BCheck. You will configure systems, align with purchasing and pharmacy leadership, and mentor teammates on cost-related workflows.

You'll manage complex projects, coordinate data feeds, train stakeholders, and travel to customer sites as needed to ensure successful go-lives within a fast-paced healthcare IT environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in hospital pharmacy purchasing, buying, procurement, or cost-savings optimization.
• 2+ years of project management and/or client-facing experience, ideally implementation-related.
• Strong familiarity with pharmacy cost savings programs, 340B requirements, and GPOs preferred.
• Experience in the healthcare industry, ideally hospital pharmacy or health-system purchasing.
• Strong data analysis skills to assess savings performance and identify optimization opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of Procurement Solution implementation projects from kick-off to go-live and training, maintaining timelines.
• Configure and validate data, workflows, and data feeds to ensure accurate performance tracking from go-live.
• Act as main point of contact for customers before go-live, handling communications.
• Manage multiple implementations across customers with different priorities and deadlines.
• Advise customers on best practices for cost-savings, 340B compliance, and GPO/contract alignment.
• Train customer stakeholders on CostCheck savings methodology and 340BCheck audit workflows.
• Train stakeholders on ShortageCheck usage and medication tracking.
• Serve as liaison between customers, wholesalers/GPOs, and Bluesight teams for pricing configuration.
• Maintain up-to-date project plans, tickets, and documentation for leadership visibility.
• Provide senior guidance to the Implementation team and onboard less-experienced specialists.
• Travel to customer sites to support rollout and stakeholder meetings.
