Job summary

Octave seeks a Senior Implementation Consultant to lead setup, installation, configuration, and customization of Loop Core and related data solutions for clients. Role requires independent work, project leadership, mentoring, and expert consulting in enterprise software implementations.

Some onsite travel and remote work are possible. The ideal candidate will have extensive EPC consulting experience, hands-on data mapping, and strong collaboration with sales, training, and product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical), Information Technology, or a related field OR equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a consulting role within the EPC industry.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in COTS / packaged software implementation.
• Experience in materials management and specifications.
• Strong understanding of software methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Iterative and Incremental).
• Knowledge of Loop Core (Smart Materials) and Octave Loop Reference Data.
• Familiarity with Oracle Apex and Oracle Database Administration.
• Ability to travel up to 50%, including international travel.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage software implementation projects, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction.
• Work directly with clients to manage installation, configuration, and deployment of technical solutions, specifically Smart Materials software.
• Manage initial access, map and transfer data, create process documentation and train client users.
• Analyze customer requirements and illustrate how company solutions provide value and support to their organization.
• Design solutions by constructing workflow charts, studying client system capabilities, and writing specifications.
• Improve solutions by analyzing current practices, designing modifications, and implementing best practices.
