Job summary

FactSet is seeking a Principal Implementation Specialist to lead client implementations across multiple North American offices and hybrid environments. You will guide projects, align product capabilities with client needs, and drive scalable deployment of analytics, performance and risk solutions.

You will collaborate with regional managers, translate client requirements into technical specs, and train users while ensuring a smooth transition to support.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience using FactSet’s Analytics tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, CS, or related field.
• Understanding of how clients use FactSet Analytics and Performance Solutions products (PA, SPAR, Vault & Insight, APIs).
• Excellent technical background with ability to write complex screening codes.
• CFA, CIPM, CAPM, FRM, MBA or similar certifications preferred.
• Detail-oriented with big-picture thinking.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Produce client-facing communication with the implementation project manager.
• Build and manage implementation scope and create project plans.
• Provide product guidance on processes based on client needs.
• Create user workflow specs and prioritize technical integration tasks.
• Develop understanding of the Analytics suite and related tools.
• Improve deployments to enhance user experience and enable sales opportunities.
• Communicate with sophisticated users about investment concepts and usage.
• Identify growth opportunities during implementation.
• Share trends and areas for improvement with stakeholders.
• Study client workflows and collaborate with Product Development and Engineering.
• Provide user training and support development of training programs.
• Facilitate transition from implementation to support.
