Job summary

FactSet is seeking a Principal Implementation Specialist to lead is across multiple offices including Boston, MA and other U.S. cities, with hybrid work.

You will guide client implementations of the Analytics suite, performance solutions, and risk tools, applying deep product and industry knowledge to ensure successful deployments and ongoing customer success. You will collaborate with regional managers to drive best practices, create project plans, and translate client needs into actionable

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience working with FactSet’s Analytics tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Computer Science, ora relatedfield or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of how clients use FactSet Analytics and Performance Solutions products to include PA (Portfolio Analysis), SPAR (our returns-based Style, Performance, and Risk tool), Portfolio Vault & Insight and Analytics APIs.
• Excellent technical background
• Proven technical proficiency particularly with writing complex screening codes
• CFA, CIPM, CAPM, FRM, MBA, or other industry certifications preferred
• Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture
• Enthusiastic with a keen sense of initiative and a desire to take ownership
• Willingness to travel

Responsibilities

• Produce client-facing communication in coordination with the implementation project manager.
• Build and manage implementation scope and effort estimates. Collaborate on building project plans.
• Providing product (functional and technical) guidance on the solutioning of processes based on customer needs
• Create user workflow specifications and establish priority and direction to technical integration staff on client requirements
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects of the Analytics suite
• Implement new and enhance existing deployments to create a better user experience and further enable sales opportunities
• Effectively communicate with our most sophisticated users via a strong understanding of investment principles and their application in the industry
• Identify growth strategies by outlining client organizational structures and uncovering additional opportunity during the implementation process
• Share emerging trends, what is working well, and areas for improvement
• Study client workflows and partner with Product Development and Engineering to enhance FactSet’s products
• Provide user training and support the development of training programs
• Facilitate transition from implementation phase to support
