Based in Concord, CA, this hybrid position requires strong Java and REST API skills, plus experience with CI/CD tools. The candidate should manage multiple engagements while ensuring data quality and stable production support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in software development or healthcare tech.
• 8+ years of object-oriented development experience.
• Strong Java, SQL, and REST API skills.
• Experience with XML-based configuration and EDI transactions.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Ability to lead client-facing technical discussions.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions and define integration scope with clients.
• Configure XML-driven workflows and extend platform in Java.
• Develop Java extensions and customizations.
• Manage full client implementation lifecycle from scoping to go-live.
• Implement X12 835/837 handling within configuration framework.
• Integrate with payer REST APIs and systems like Guidewire.
• Diagnose issues and ensure long-term production stability.
• Contribute to automation and quality through testing.
