Job summary

AAFDA is seeking an experienced evaluation specialist to shape evidence, learning and impact communications. You will develop theories of change, design data collection tools and oversee reporting for funders.

Working remotely from the UK, you will combine quantitative data, qualitative feedback and lived experience to identify results, coach colleagues, and support decisions across services, fundraising and leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in evaluation or research with reporting for funders or senior stakeholders.
• Strong writing, data management and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of ethical evaluation and data protection essential.
• Domestic-abuse sector experience desirable.
• Ability to work independently and build sensitive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop outcome frameworks, theories of change and collection tools.
• Combine quantitative data, qualitative feedback, and lived experience to identify results.
• Maintain reliable reporting systems; coach colleagues and support decisions across services, fundraising and leadership.
• Own annual and funder impact reporting; create briefs, case studies and web content.
• Manage external evaluation support, ensuring consent and safeguarding.
