Leidos Biomedical Research, Inc. is seeking a senior scientist to lead the VICD immunology program focused on HPV vaccines and cancer preventive strategies. You will oversee studies from concept to execution, develop and validate T cell assays by flow cytometry, and manage large datasets with LIMS.

The role requires strong leadership, strong knowledge of influenza immunology, and experience with multiplex platforms, ELISA, and antibody-based assays in high-throughput settings.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Virology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or Immunology (CHEA-evaluated) or six years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of progressively responsible experience, including 1 year in leadership/management of full-time staff.
• Experience with influenza immunology and viral immunology.

Aufgaben

• Oversee laboratory projects from conception to execution.
• Develop and validate T cell assays by flow cytometry and antibody-based methods.
• Manage sample inventory using LIMS and maintain data analysis databases.
• Plan experiments and support staff scheduling for testing.
• Ensure assay rigor and compliance with GCLP/GLP where applicable.
