Lilly Seaport Innovation Center in Boston, MA is seeking a hands-on Scientist/Senior Scientist with expertise in protein biomarker analysis and immunoassay development. You will run immunoassays, analyze data, and contribute to assay design under guidance to support neuroscience programs.

The role is on-site at our Lilly Seaport Innovation Center in Boston, with a robust benefits package and annual wage expectations ranging from $72,000 to $189,200 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry, academic, or postgraduate experience in protein biomarker analysis.
• Hands-on experience with quantitative immunoassay platforms (ELISA, MSD, SIMOA, NULISA, SPEAR).
• Solid understanding of immunoassay principles, antibodies, and assay validation.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not offered.

Responsibilities

• Independently run immunoassays and test clinical samples to generate biomarker data.
• Analyze and interpret biomarker assay data; troubleshoot issues and report results.
• Contribute to design, development, optimization, and qualification of assays.
• Maintain accurate documentation per electronic lab notebook guidelines.
• Collaborate with local and cross-site teams to advance the neuroscience portfolio.
