Job summary

Lilly’s Neuroscience Biomarker Discovery & Analysis team in Boston is seeking a hands-on Scientist/Senior Scientist with expertise in protein biomarker analysis and immunoassay development. You will develop, qualify, and run immunoassay‑based biomarker methods and test clinical samples critical to advancing our neuroscience portfolio.

The role reports to the team lead and involves collaborative work across local and cross-site teams, documentation, and adhering to electronic lab notebook

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, neuroscience, or related life science with 5+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with quantitative immunoassays (ELISA, MSD, SIMOA, NULISA, SPEAR).
• Fundamental understanding of immunoassay principles and biomarker quantification.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not anticipated.
• Expertise in assay development and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Independently run immunoassays and test clinical samples to generate high-quality biomarker data.
• Analyze and interpret biomarker assay data, troubleshoot issues, and report results clearly to the team.
• Contribute to the design, development, optimization, and qualification of novel immunoassay‑based biomarker assays and methods.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of experimental results through electronic lab notebook guidelines.
• Collaborate with local, cross-site, and cross‑functional teams to advance neuroscience portfolio.
