Job summary

Immigrants First, PLLC is a full-service immigration law firm seeking an attorney to represent individuals in Immigration Court and related matters. The role includes preparing clients for USCIS, DOS, and Asylum Office interviews and handling both detained and non-detained cases for relief such as asylum, SIJS, U-Visas, and waivers.

The attorney will supervise support staff, manage filings, and stay up to date on immigration developments.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a U.S. law school and bar admission in any U.S. state.
• Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent individuals in Immigration Court and family courts for SIJS and other relief.
• Prepare clients for interviews with USCIS, DOS, and Asylum Office.
• Provide direct legal representation to detained and non-detained clients for asylum, withholding, CAT, U-Visas, T-Visas, waivers, and Removal/Cancellation.
• Supervise staff on legal matters and manage casework filings with administrative support.
• Stay informed on developments in immigration law and maintain client intake follow-up.
