A rapidly growing law firm with multiple office locations is seeking an experienced Senior Immigration Attorney to join its team in Orlando, FL. This position is ideal for a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in immigration law and a passion for advocating on behalf of clients in complex immigration matters. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal counsel, mentor junior attorneys and paralegals, and play a key role in representing clients in court and before government agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload of immigration matters, including removal defense, asylum cases, and other complex immigration proceedings.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of paralegals and junior attorneys, providing guidance and professional development.
  • Conduct legal research, draft motions, and prepare legal documentation to support client cases.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, immigration interviews, and administrative hearings.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure clear communication throughout the legal process.
  • Stay up to date with changes in immigration laws, regulations, and policies to provide the most effective legal strategies.
  • Collaborate with partners and other legal professionals to enhance the firm’s immigration practice.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in immigration law or related legal fields.
  • Active U.S. Bar license (any state).
  • Fluency in Spanish (required).
  • Strong litigation skills, including experience handling complex immigration cases.
  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven leadership, mentorship, and team management skills.

Additional Information

  • This is a senior-level role requiring extensive immigration law experience.
  • Salary is flexible and may exceed $100K annually based on qualifications and experience.
