Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Immigration Law, including Immigration Issues and Legal Issues relevant to low-income and vulnerable communities.
• Experience handling Immigration matters and Visas, including case preparation, filings, and representation before USCIS.
• Licensed attorney in good standing with a state bar; prior experience in immigration legal services or public interest law preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a substantial caseload, supervise legal staff, and work effectively on multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, with strong attention to detail and ethical practice.
• Ability to work on-site in Richmond and Oakland, CA and engage in community education and outreach as needed.
• Spanish proficiency is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor legal staff and coordinate with case managers and social service teams.
• Maintain accurate case records and documentation for each client case.
• Conduct community outreach and deliver know-your-rights presentations.
• Collaborate with partner organizations to improve access to immigration legal services.
