CAIR-LA is seeking a Senior Immigrants' Rights Attorney in Anaheim, CA to provide immigration legal consultations and direct representation before USCIS, EOIR, and other agencies. The role maintains a full removal defense caseload and may handle affirmative applications.

This exempt, full-time position is temporary through December 31, 2027 with occasional evenings and weekends. You will lead the Immigrants' Rights team, supervise staff, oversee intakes and reporting, and partner with CAIR-LA's

Qualificações

• Law degree from ABA-accredited school.
• License to practice law and in good standing in at least one state.
• Minimum three years of immigration law experience with at least two years focused on removal defense.
• Strong time management with ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including public speaking.
• Experience working with people from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership and supervision to the Immigrants' Rights legal team.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Immigrants' Rights team including intakes, staff, and reporting.
• Supervise casework and provide training, consultation, and guidance.
• Oversee retained caseload and ensure proper documentation and advancement.
• Participate in CAIR-LA's Management Team and advise executives.
