KARL STORZ North America is seeking a Software Engineer III to be onsite in Raleigh, NC. You will analyze, design, develop, and modify software for operating-room environments and support streaming, encoding, and video controls within a FDA-regulated setting.

You will lead the development of software using Angular, .NET, C#, Web API, microservices, and Entity Framework, guiding the full software lifecycle and ensuring quality across multi-team efforts.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in CS or related field.
• 5 years of software-development experience.
• 5 years with Angular, C#, .NET, SQL Server, Web API, Node.js and JavaScript.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, development, documentation, and implementation of scalable software applications using Scrum/Agile and technologies such as Angular, .NET, C#, Web API, microservices, databases, and Entity Framework.
• Guide SDLC from requirements through testing and deployment in real-world environments.
• Contribute to architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Plan and perform unit testing and debugging, define test conditions, and participate in software certification.
• Design and implement improvements to performance, usability, scalability, and maintainability of software products.
• Coordinate Scrum meetings and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements before product launches.
• Lead prototyping, vendor research/selection, and collaborate with Product Strategy to improve efficiency, quality and cost control.
• Coordinate installations, monitor performance, train staff, maintain Design History File, and explore emerging technologies.
