Job summary

KARL STORZ North America is seeking a Software Engineer III for an on-site role in Raleigh, NC. You will analyze, design, develop, debug, and modify software for operating-room environments, building tools across OS, utilities, databases, and networks, with FDA considerations.

The role requires 5+ years of experience in Angular/C#/.NET/SQL Server and Web API, plus a proven track in microservices and GUI components. Up to 10% travel; visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of software-development experience.
• 5 years of experience with Angular, C#, .NET, SQL Server, Web API, Node.js, and JavaScript.
• Experience with microservices architecture and Entity Framework.
• Ability to translate requirements into design specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, modification, and implementation of scalable software applications.
• Guide full software-development lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Provide architectural input and code reviews to team members.
• Plan unit testing and debugging and participate in software certification.
• Coordinate with Regulatory personnel before product launch.
• Lead prototyping, vendor research, and support design process.
