Job summary

KARL STORZ Endoscopy in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Software Engineer in Test to ensure the quality of our medical software through acceptance testing, test automation, and automation-framework enhancements. The role involves leading testing within Agile teams and expanding automation capabilities to support verification across software releases.

Qualifications

BS or MS in CS/CE with 2+ years in software or software testing.
2+ years experience in C/C++ and/or C# development.
Proficiency in C#, .NET, Python, and RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with Linux, networking, and security concepts.

Responsibilities

Lead or support testing within Agile teams, defining acceptance tests and automation scripts.
Design mocks, test harnesses, integration tests, and other automation solutions.
Extend automation frameworks to enable new scripting capabilities and automate repetitive tasks.
Review design specs for testability and perform automated, exploratory, and manual testing as needed.
Investigate defects, document findings, and maintain test scripts for regression testing.
Develop verification test plans and maintain related documentation.
