Job summary

MLK Community Healthcare seeks a Lead PACS Administrator / Imaging Informaticist to serve as the senior technical authority for the enterprise imaging environment. You will design architecture, arbitrate complex decisions, and own the end-to-end plan for Visage PACS and VNA migration while coordinating with the contracted radiology group and internal teams.

This working leadership role emphasizes hands-on architecture, problem-solving, and lifting the technical bar across the imaging informatics

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical authority for enterprise imaging, setting architecture standards and criteria across Visage, Fuji Synapse, and related platforms.
• Lead enterprise imaging technical solutions across inpatient and outpatient radiology, cardiology, interventional radiology, and related workflows.
• Own and lead the end-to-end technical plan for Visage 7 PACS and VNA migration, including validation, cutover, rollback, and stabilization.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to PACS architects, analysts, and administrators; grow team capability and reduce single points of failure.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison to the contracted radiology group’s IT team for study routing, worklist orchestration, and demarcation between environments.
