Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Field Service Specialist to deliver specialized repair and maintenance for diagnostic imaging and biomedical equipment. You will work to reduce contract dependency through advanced training and play a key role in leading Clinical Engineering activities.

You will handle service emergencies, coordinate with stakeholders, and provide parts ordering and opportunities input while staying current with technology and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Electrical/Biomedical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least seven years' experience servicing medical imaging equipment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Preferred: Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide repair and maintenance for diagnostic imaging and biomedical equipment.
• Lead within Clinical Engineering and assist FSS with imaging equipment repair.
• Manage service emergencies and communications with stakeholders.
• Identify new service opportunities and analyze cost histories for expense reduction.
