Job summary

Activ Surgical is building a platform for introducing the latest sensing technology to minimally invasive surgery, aimed at visualizing the invisible to inform surgical decisions. As part of the R&D team, you will design and prototype novel real-time imaging and sensing technologies for tissue visualization.

You will stay current on clinical challenges and communicate results effectively with the broader team, enabling safer, better outcomes.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in physics, optics, EE, or biomedical engineering.
• Hands-on experience with optical imaging and camera sensors.
• Experience developing real-time imaging or sensing systems.
• Proficient with Zemax or equivalent optical design software.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• On-site presence required; full-remote not acceptable.
