Job summary

Endeavor Health in Skokie, IL is seeking an Imaging Engineer I to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair imaging equipment across multiple sites. You will support clinical staff and act as a technical resource for Biomed Techs, with responsibilities spanning installation, QA testing, and part ordering.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver's license; typical imaging equipment service experience is around 2 years, with preference for imaging experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Typically 2 years biomedical equipment service experience.
• Imaging experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair imaging equipment using test equipment.
• Perform general service per procedures and manufacturer guidance.
• Provide equipment-related operational support to clinical staff.
• Serve as a technical resource for Biomed Technicians.
• Document inspection, repair, and adjustment records.
• Install or assist with installation of new imaging equipment.
• Coordinate with the radiation physicist on QA testing and licensing.
• Order spare parts and escalate questions beyond scope.
