Job summary
Serco Inc. is seeking a Senior Information Management and Knowledge Management Specialist to lead enterprise IM/KM initiatives within the Joint Staff J-7 DDJTE in Suffolk, VA.
The role focuses on transforming data into decision-ready insights through Power BI, SharePoint Online, and other 365 tools while ensuring DoD cybersecurity and records governance compliance. You will develop enterprise knowledge solutions, executive dashboards, COPs, and analytics, and mentor teams in KM best practices,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience designing, developing, and administering Microsoft 365 collaboration and BI solutions (SharePoint Online, Teams, Power BI, Excel, Power Apps, Power Automate).
- Demonstrated experience implementing enterprise IM and KM strategies, integrating data from multiple systems, and developing governance and decision-support solutions.
- Experience administering Microsoft SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 collaboration environments.
- Experience designing executive dashboards, KPI dashboards, COPs, and BI visualizations using Power BI and 365 tech.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of enterprise Information Management and Knowledge Management strategies, governance, and collaboration solutions using Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online.
- Design and administer SharePoint Online, Teams, Lists, and other 365 environments with DoD SRG/STIG compliance.
- Develop executive dashboards, COPs, KPI scorecards, workforce analytics, and interactive BI visualizations.
- Integrate and analyze data from multiple government information systems to deliver enterprise reporting and decision-support products.
- Design Power Apps and Power Automate solutions to automate workflows and improve collaboration.
- Leverage approved AI/machine learning capabilities to enhance knowledge discovery while maintaining governance.
- Capture, organize, and disseminate organizational knowledge and lessons learned to improve information sharing.
- Deliver executive briefings and training on Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and KM best practices.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders to advance digital modernization and ensure compliance.
