Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems in Northridge, CA is seeking an Integrated Logistics Support Engineer (Level 4) to join our Advanced Weapons team, supporting a secured missile weapon system. The role requires on-site work on a 9/80 schedule with no telework.

You will perform ILS activities from concept and proposal through development, test, production and post-production support, serving as the Product Support/ Sustainment POC for assigned programs. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field with 8 years of engineering experience or 6 years with Masters; higher degrees may substitute experience.
• Experience in Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), Reliability, Maintainability or related discipline.
• Experience in developing and delivering Level of Repair Analysis (LORA).
• Familiar with data/trend analysis or databases for logistics tracking.
• Knowledge of military maintenance and sustainment support.
• Proven ability to lead and monitor tasks; strong written and verbal communication.
• U.S. citizen able to obtain Secret DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform ILS engineering activities across concept to post-production support.
• Serve as Product Support/Sustainability POC for assigned programs and liaise with teams.
• Support logistics design influence to meet performance requirements.
• Analyze technical data to develop logistics and maintenance data.
• Create and update reports such as maintenance plans and provisioning.
• Develop/execute LORA, maintenance concepts and training materials.
• Plan and execute activities for operation and maintenance readiness.
• Conduct logistics analysis using engineering and industry tools.
• Perform Human Factors analysis on maintenance and operations.
• Develop/update PHS&T and demilitarization plans.
