Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Defense Sector in Northridge, CA is seeking a Sr. Principal Logistics Management Analyst to join our Advanced Weapons team. You will help develop logistics concepts, analyze data, and support a secured missile weapon system throughout lifecycle.

The role requires on-site work, a US citizenship with ability to obtain a Secret clearance, and collaboration across projects. Candidates should have a strong background in LSA, maintenance planning, and cost analysis; relocation

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering or related field; 8 years of engineering experience or 6 years with Masters.
Experience in Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), Reliability, Maintainability, or related discipline.
Experience in developing logistics supportability analyses.
Knowledge of data/trend analysis or databases for tracking logistics and inventory.
Familiar with military maintenance and sustainment support.
U.S. citizen able to obtain Secret DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

Perform integrated logistics support activities from concept through post-production phases.
Support logistics design influence to meet system performance requirements.
Analyze data to develop logistics data and reports (MTA, provisioning reports).
Evaluate repair-versus-replace strategies to optimize supply chain cost and efficiency.
Develop Maintenance Concepts and MSPs for mission readiness.
Plan/execute activities to sustain operation and maintenance of systems.
