Job summary

Finlays Solutions is seeking a Senior Technical Accountant in Florham Park, NJ to oversee IFRS lease accounting, fixed asset management, and financial reporting. You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, and Finance to ensure capitalization of assets, asset inventories, and strong internal controls.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, with deep IFRS expertise, especially IFRS 16, and a track record in asset-intensive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong experience with IFRS financial reporting and lease accounting (IFRS 16).
• Experience in manufacturing/asset-intensive environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the IFRS subject matter expert and support technical accounting matters.
• Research, interpret, and document accounting conclusions for complex transactions.
• Prepare technical accounting memos and policy documentation.
• Support implementation of new accounting standards and policies.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Provide technical guidance to finance and business stakeholders.
