Job summary

Panasonic Avionics Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Control Specialist II to plan, report, and analyze maintenance operations for airline IFE programs. You will coordinate with PTS service locations and airline centers to allocate resources and clear defects quickly, while handling global planning, inventory, and trend analysis.

Your role includes troubleshooting IFE configurations, leveraging manuals such as AMM and AIPC, and supporting engineering and customer teams to ensure smooth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent combo of education/experience.
• Six years of related experience or three years in the Maintenance Control Specialist I role.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant license preferred.
• IT and network experience highly preferred.
• IFE, cellular and satellite communication experience highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Create and analyze reports for management review, including daily operations and open deferrals.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with service locations and airline centers to clear defects promptly.
• Assist real-time troubleshooting of IFE configurations via in-flight or ground calls and provide sustainable solutions.
• Coordinate program-wide with Logistics, QA, PM, Product Support Engineering and Customer Support Engineering.
• Assist department training to maintain knowledge of processes, products and services.
• Serve as communications focal to airlines, internal teams, third-party suppliers and OEMs for technical issues.
• Inform management of IFE maintenance issues that may impact customers’ service.
