Job summary

Panasonic Avionics Corporation seeks a Maintenance Control Specialist II to provide planning, reporting and analysis of maintenance operations for airline IFE programs. You will coordinate resources with PTS locations and airline centers to clear defects quickly and manage inventory, trends and issues globally.

The role requires understanding of AMM, AIPC, SCI, and in-flight/ground support coordination, with strong troubleshooting skills and IT/network experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline or combination of education and related experience.
• Six years of related experience or three years demonstrated competency in the Maintenance Control role.
• Specialist I role.
• Engineering, project engineering, or project/program management experience preferred.
• Airline operations and 24/7 technical support center experience preferred.
• IT and network experience highly preferred.
• IFE, cellular and satellite communication experience highly desired.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant License preferred.
• Linux Basic and Linux Plus or equivalent experience with the Linux Operating system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and analyze reports for management, including Daily Operations Report listing open deferrals.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with service locations and airline centers to clear defects promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of AMM, AIPC, SCI and product installations as per service agreements.
