Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of modern authentication and authorization technologies (MFA, SSO, OAuth 2.0, JWTs).
• Experience designing, building, and operating secure microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in Java and PHP.
• Ability to translate requirements into scalable secure designs.
• Experience collaborating with engineering and business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable authentication and authorization systems using Java, PHP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Build and operate high-quality microservices powering MFA, SSO, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWTs, token management, scopes, and permissions.
• Provide technical guidance across architecture levels and mentor engineers on security practices.
• Influence architectural decisions with deep expertise in identity and security.
• Participate in on-call rotations to respond to issues and ensure service reliability.
