Happen Bank in San Francisco is seeking a Principal Identity Security Engineer to lead identity security, governance, and access across employees, contractors, and cloud environments.

You will own privileged access management, automate provisioning, and drive AI-assisted engineering workflows while ensuring compliance with SOX, PCI DSS, and other regulators. This role requires building scalable identity architectures and mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IAM/Security Engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in identity lifecycle, governance, authentication and least privilege.
• Hands-on with SailPoint/IGA, Okta, AD, AWS IAM, Terraform, GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Define technical direction for identity security and governance across platforms.
• Lead complex identity initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Evaluate and adopt new identity security capabilities with AI responsibly.
