Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst on the Risk Analytics team to own end-to-end controls for ATO and scam prevention across the Coinbase ecosystem.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to build risk strategies and define metrics that inform leadership decisions. You will analyze large datasets using SQL and Python, build dashboards with Tableau/Looker/Superset, and communicate clear recommendations to reduce fraud and protect users.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on risk experience in e-commerce or financial services, with at least 2 years focused on combating ATO and scams in Fraud/Trust & Safety/Account Security.
• 2+ years of professional experience in data analysis using SQL and Python with large-scale databases.
• Proficiency with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Superset) to build dashboards and reporting frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to independently scope and deliver analytics projects while collaborating with Product, Data Science, and Engineering.
• Familiarity with blockchain analytics and fraud trends in cryptocurrency.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to improve workflows.

• Use data to assess risk and make decisions impacting large customer segments, with clear tradeoffs.
