Job summary

EY is seeking an Identity Verification Engineer to design and implement identity proofing workflows across platforms such as 1Kosmos BlockID and Microsoft Verified ID. You will configure document verification, biometric authentication, liveness detection, and IAM integrations across Entra ID / Azure AD and adjacent services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Info Security, Info Systems, or related field.
• 3–5+ years IAM experience.
• 2+ years hands‑on 1Kosmos or Microsoft Verified ID implementation.
• Experience with identity proofing, passwordless authentication, biometric verification.
• Experience with enterprise identity lifecycle management and onboarding processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement identity proofing workflows using 1Kosmos or Microsoft Verified ID.
• Configure and support document verification, biometrics, facial recognition, liveness detection, and identity controls.
• Implement IAL2‑grade identity proofing per NIST 800-63 guidelines.
• Onboard journeys for employees, contractors, vendors, and privileged users.
• Configure and administer 1Kosmos BlockID and services.
• Manage enrollment, policies, and authentication workflows.
• Integrate 1Kosmos with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD and IdRamp/CLEAR.
• Monitor platform health and troubleshoot issues.
• Integrate with IAM and ITSM platforms (SailPoint, Okta, ServiceNow, etc.).
• Develop API‑based integrations and configure SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM.
• Implement passwordless authentication strategies.
• Ensure security/compliance and develop runbooks.
